Above what was Barclays Bank in Seaford on the top corner of Broad Street is a small firm of Transport Consultants that are responsible for the administration of concessionary travel schemes (that’s bus passes to you and me) for one third of Shire England (that’s excluding London and the Metropolitan areas).

MCL Transport Consultant’s small staff of 11 people deal with over 250 bus operators and are responsible for accounting for over £140 million spent by County Councils and Unitary Authorities on reimbursing bus operators for carrying pass holders free of charge. We also administer youth card schemes and multi-operator ticketing as well as taxi vouchers and assist a number of small bus operators with data services, route costing and network evaluation.
