Our May Chamber meeting was also the Seaford Chamber’s Annual General Meeting— and what a morning it was!
We’re delighted to share that Neal Richardson of @splashpointjazz has been elected as our new President! Congratulations, Neal—we’re excited for what’s ahead.

Carol Trimbee now steps into the role of Vice President, and we want to offer a heartfelt thank you to Carol for her brilliant three years of service as President. Your commitment to bringing the Chamber and the town closer together has been deeply appreciated.
We also welcomed Marie Venables as our Secretary. At the same time, we bid a fond farewell to Rachel Brown, who retires after an incredible 12 years of dedicated service to the Chamber. Rachel was honoured with a beautiful signed sketch (brilliantly illustrated by Carol of @Studio5Seaford ) and a warm presentation to mark her contribution. You and your ding will be missed, Rachel!

A membership update was provided by Leila Rummery and adopted in her absence.
Our thanks go to Mark Boxall from Shoreline Accounts @shorelineaccountantsuk for his ongoing work as Treasurer. The Treasurer’s report was read out and adopted in his absence.
We also heard from key leads:

Suzanne Mountain – Online Business Coach shared our growth on social media and encouraged members to interact with our posts to help boost our visibility and encourage other businesses to attend meetings and get involved.
The meeting closed with a quick open forum discussion, filled with thoughtful suggestions and ideas from our members.
