Kicking off 2026 with Energy, Insight, and a Few Well-Earned Celebrations
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the year than with this morning’s packed Chamber breakfast at The View! It was brilliant to see so many of you, new faces and long-standing members alike, coming together with such positivity and purpose.
Our speaker this month was Suzanne Mountain, a local business coach who led us through a powerful reflection on what it means to thrive rather than just survive in business and life.

One simple yet thought-provoking takeaway:
“What’s one thing I can do to spend 10% more time at my best?”
And the follow-up “When I next notice I’m in survival mode, I will…”
Big thanks to Suzanne for such a practical and engaging session – one of our members used those exact words to describe it, and we couldn’t agree more!
We also took a moment to celebrate some local wins:
Cooper & Sons – winners of our festive window display competition!
Friends of Bishopstone Station – recipients of the King’s Award for Voluntary Service! An incredible achievement we’re all very proud of.
Thanks to everyone who came along and contributed to the energy in the room, we’re excited to carry this momentum forward.
Let’s make 2026 a year of thriving, together.
Next meeting: Thursday, 5th February – 7:00am at The View.
