It was great to see Seaford Chamber President Neal Richardson spending time this week with Friends of Bishopstone Station (FOBS), sharing more about the Chamber’s aims and his own career in music.

These moments really matter. They’re a reminder that the Chamber isn’t just about meetings and memberships, but about real connections with the people and groups doing brilliant work across our town.
And FOBS are a perfect example of that. From preserving the only station in the UK with wartime gun pillboxes, to lovingly restoring the rooms back to their 1930s glory, the care and pride they bring to Bishopstone Station is inspiring.

So it feels especially fitting to say a huge congratulations to them on receiving the King’s Award for Voluntary Service. A well-earned recognition for an exceptional group of volunteers and a real credit to the area.
