Seaford Chamber of Commerce has been working hard over the last six months to support the businesses at Cradle Hill Industrial Estate while they go through their revision of their leases.
Due to the long period of time since they had their last review, many of them were going to be subject to a large amount of back rent.
Chamber President Paul Franklin said “We are pleased to announce after many meetings, that new recommendations put through to Lewes District Council have been considered and forwarded to the Strategic Property Board who sat in August and our recommendations were accepted. Therefore, no back rent will need to be paid on all new leases that will be set up from that date. Seaford Chamber of Commerce is extremely pleased we could assist these businesses and many thanks to Lewes District council for their decision”
