Seahaven Business Awards 2022

Last Friday evening (13 May 2022), a glittering gala dinner was held at Jerrom Hall, Peacehaven to celebrate the shortlisted entries and winners of this year’s Seahaven Business Awards.

Last Friday evening (13 May 2022), a glittering gala dinner was held at Jerrom Hall, Peacehaven to celebrate the shortlisted entries and winners of this year’s Seahaven Business Awards.

In the presence VIP guests: Her Majesty the Queens’s representative the Lord Lieutenant for East Sussex, Mr Andrew Blackman and His Excellency Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long of Vietnam and Deputy Chief of Mission, Counsellor Mrs TO MINH THU, as well as Sussex MPs Maria Caulfield and Lloyd Russell-Moyle, the Town Mayors and Presidents of Newhaven, Seaford and Peacehaven Chambers of Commerce, over 100 nominees, staff and guests had the pleasure of seeing the awards presented.

Cloud Voice and Data

Chamber member Cloud Voice and Data were winners of Business of the Year, they also won 3rd place for Best Customer Service.

Tiger Cox

Chamber member Tiger Cox was runner up for Young Business Person of the Year.

Havens Food

Chamber member Havens Food Co-operative won Best Environmental Business

Badger Inks

The runner up for Best Environmental Business was our own Alasdair Fortune from Badger Inks.

Havens

Paula Woolvern of Havens Community Hub was also runner up for Business Person of the Year.

La Maison

La Maison BBQ and Mobile Catering Services based in Seaford won the award for Best Eatery and were runners up for Business of the Year.

Who knew we had such great entrepreneurs in our town! Why not think about entering the awards next year? The competition opens for entries in January.

Finally, the Seahaven Business Awards include Chamber President awards which this year was made by Rachel Brown (as our new President, Carol Trimbee was unable to attend).

Clare Davis

The 2022 award was made to Clare Davis for her outstanding contribution to the Chamber.
